Turn On, Turn Off
I live.
Not really sure what to write about beyond that. My head seems to be mimicking the weather outside quite adroitly: foggy, kind of cold and a little eerie. I haven't updated out of a vague discontent with trying to share my thoughts-- my thoughts, let me share them-- because the post would be too long, too involved, and my attention span is too short these days.
So. I live. By all rights, I live well, too. I have an easy semester with classes that are very tailored to open, creative people, and I'm surviving my Italian courses, both of them, with minimal pain. I am on a diet that is leaving me feeling healthier, clearer and more energetic by the day (see also: racquetball/exercising daily). I have procured a job at Howard's, which is the coolest job ever, since it involves books, cats, and helping people (seriously, what is wrong with me: I actually *missed* retail). I am doing much, much better about keeping the apartment clean-- by know means is it spotless but it does get picked up every few days, and dishes are left in the sink for no more than three. This is a vast improvement. The boy is wonderful, money is okay, I have tickets to see Stomp tommorrow night, a closet full of fabulous shoes, and Rock Band. Finally, An Exciting Oppurtunity has presented itself at the crossroads of serendipity and hard work. We shall see how this pans out, but if it does, there will be many future updates about it-- and things are looking good so far.
And yet.
There is always that "and yet".

*is out of the loop really bad*
I love Howard's books. They have cats, and a great selection of kid's books.

Yeah, Howard's is the shizz. You should stop by sometime! I miss seeing Sarah. ;_;
